I’m out of school for the summer and will be fully settled into my new place by then end of this weekend, so I am pleased to announce that I will once again be converting fics at a solid pace.

KindleFics creates fully operational kindle files that work with text resizing and text to speech. If there’s a fic you’d like converted then just drop the Title, the Author, and the Fandom/Pairing in the kindlefic askbox and it will be added to the list along with the 5 that are currently waiting to be converted.

(I understand that some tags move faster than others, so if this post starts to clog up a tag, please let me know so I can remove the tag from the other queued posts.)

i know this might be a redundant or silly question, but where should I go to download the fanfics for the kindle?

If you go to the main page of the blog, you can scroll through and each post will have a different fic in it. The main titles of the posts are links to the file on mediafire.

It’s relatively easy to do the conversion, but it can be rather time consuming. (Formatting the fics, etc.)

I’m not honestly sure how to answer your other question though. I myself love using my kindle for fanfiction because it means that I’m not starring at a computer screen for hours on end. They both do relatively the same thing, one just tends to hurt my eyes over time. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s a preference thing. If you don’t like starring at your iphone, then a kindle’s a good buy. But if the screen doesn’t bother you, then I wouldn’t waste your money.

I was wondering whether the fics are safe to download. Is there any chance I'll get any viruses?

I don’t want to say that they’re 100% safe, just because you should always be careful with whatever you’re downloading from the internet, but they do come for a window’s computer equipped with quite a bit of virus blocking and frequent scanning. As far as I’m aware, there are no viruses on my computer.

If you want to be extra safe though, which is always a good idea, I would recommend having the free version of AVG on your computer. It’s a virus software that runs in the background and will immediately get rid of, and notify you of any viruses that come into your system. It also gives you the option to scan files individually before you open them, by left clicking and selecting ‘Scan’.

I am SO sorry for not answering sooner. I read it like the day you asked and then I completely forgot to answer you.

I’m pretty sure that Dylan already release ebook versions of her fic, but I will glady look into it and make a kindle version if need be.
