Fanfiction for your Kindle

A collection of fanfiction that I've converted to work on kindle. All the fics are .mobi and work perfectly with the Kindle. This includes resizable fonts and text-to-speech.

I'll gladly take requests, but they're something that I'll be doing in my spare/nothing better to do, time. I'm much more likely to convert a fic if it's one of my fandoms, but this doesn't mean I'm not willing to convert others.

Just drop the name of the fic, the author, and the fandom in the ask box and I'll see what I can do.

I’m out of school for the summer and will be fully settled into my new place by then end of this weekend, so I am pleased to announce that I will once again be converting fics at a solid pace.

KindleFics creates fully operational kindle files that work with text resizing and text to speech. If there’s a fic you’d like converted then just drop the Title, the Author, and the Fandom/Pairing in the kindlefic askbox and it will be added to the list along with the 5 that are currently waiting to be converted.

(I understand that some tags move faster than others, so if this post starts to clog up a tag, please let me know so I can remove the tag from the other queued posts.)

focusedblurs Asked:
i know this might be a redundant or silly question, but where should I go to download the fanfics for the kindle?

My answer:

If you go to the main page of the blog, you can scroll through and each post will have a different fic in it. The main titles of the posts are links to the file on mediafire.

A bit of common sense that somehow escaped me: If you’re tired enough that you’re essentially sleepwalking, you should not be taking your kindle with you to the washroom.

Hey - I tried linking some stories here but it won't let me...

My answer:

No, it won’t allow links. Just let me know the names of the fics, the authors and the fandoms and then I’ll just google them.

Rachel/Quinn | Future Fic | Complete | Requested

Rachel, bottoming out completely, is doing a show in Vegas and, as a distraction from her life, gets dragged to a strip club by Puck. She hasn’t seen Quinn in 8 years. This isn’t how she wanted them to see each other again. Warning: D/s overtones.

calraquin Asked:
Hey, I was wondering if it was pretty easy to do the conversion process? Also if its worth it getting a Kindle or if you can get the same experience reading on an iphone? Thanks :)

My answer:

It’s relatively easy to do the conversion, but it can be rather time consuming. (Formatting the fics, etc.)

I’m not honestly sure how to answer your other question though. I myself love using my kindle for fanfiction because it means that I’m not starring at a computer screen for hours on end. They both do relatively the same thing, one just tends to hurt my eyes over time. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s a preference thing. If you don’t like starring at your iphone, then a kindle’s a good buy. But if the screen doesn’t bother you, then I wouldn’t waste your money.
